The Universal Polyurethane Solution Redefining Caulking Backers.
PeriBack (patent pending) is a UNIVERSAL open cell polyurethane designed to REPLACE the typical plastic / aluminum flat caulking backer for aluminum storefront system. This will also be the caulking backer rod for the frame perimeter. This open cell polyurethane is typical of the existing round backer rod that has been used in the construction industry for decades.

Reduce Inventory With PeriBack
As an open back flexible foam, PeriBack will contour to most openings providing a continuous connection between the aluminum framing systems and the building substrate. PeriBack is manufactured thicker than the typical caulk joint making it ideal for out of square / plumb openings. Our mock ups have shown that PeriBack can compress to less than 1/16", and can expand to 1 1/8"opening dictates. Always follow sealant manufacturers requirements for proper and warrantable caulk joints.

Part #: SF4.5
Our part #SF4.5 will fit most 4 ½” deep Center Glazed storefront systems.
SF4.5 is 3 7/8” thick and 1 1/8” deep with fabricated slits. These slits are designed to wrap the storefront jamb openings. See Jamb photo to the left.
Part # SF6.0 and SF6.5
Our part# SF6.0 will fit in most 6" — And 6 1/2" deep Center Glazed storefront systems.
SF6.5 is 5 7/8" x 1 1/8" follows the same criteria as SF4.5
This product has been designed to wrap the open back vertical jambs for major aluminum manufacturers such as *Arcadia, Boyd, EFCO, Kawneer, Manko, Oldcastle, US Aluminum and others.
Part # "PER"
Part # "PER" has been designed for solid back framing members. With the adhesive backing and numerous sizes, this can be applied to all closed back aluminum mullions.
Versatile Use:
- PeriBack can be applied on all four sides on frames. Slotted for Storefront Jambs, Adhesive backing for the head, sill and all closed back mullions to greatly improve the insulation values on frames.
- Due to its flexibility, PeriBack is an incredible option for the perimeter of radius, diameter and elliptical frames.
